guy ornadel... hmm. me and jamie were waiting for the fukka to come out of the dj box so we could give him abuse, but the bouncers threw us out before he showed his ugly face. what a twat. if he ever plays GC again, i will personally smack ben thompson for being such a twat..

Wow-o! Disco/Wet was amazing! Sorry I didn’t meet up with any of yas but I was kinda bouncing around in my own world after loosing my group. And someone please tell me I didn’t hallucinate hearing The age of Love? :nervous:

mos man
it is a mint tune i remember telling ste 'omg its the age of love !!'
Spin Doctor
Phew! No body I spoke to mentioned that, I though the wee voices were telling me things again! it’s such a great tune!

Next question, did Jules end up playing? I can’t remember him there. And regardless, no doubt, what you’ll say about him, Jules played some fantastic trance in that era! Did he spin that night?
decode
Nah Jules didnt play that night.

The ones who did was Hardwick, Bond, Riley, Haliwell and Ornadel.

Btw haliwell was no dissapointment. Quality.
Spin Doctor
I didn’t think he did – oh well, never mind.

I must admit, as of late, Eddie has shot up in my estimations! Before his set he was wandering around talking to loads of peeps about the night and what tunes they were getting into! :)

jas, mate... he was . he totally ruined the night :) he was the only one that didnt play the wet/discotech stuff.. it was THE best night ever until he got on the decks. yeah, at red/black scott bond played a few tunes that wernt from the red/black era, but most of the tunes he played were, and at least it was structured and he mixed them well! guy ornadel couldnt mix for (i could have quite easily played a better set) he kept ing with the eq's when it wasnt required, and it wasnt even in time! he couldnt structure a set to save his life.. u know i love joydontstop to death, but i was truly disgusted when he played it! he didnt seem to grasp the concept of getting the tunes at the same volume, and to top it all off he kept turning off the foyet speakers!! i think he will regret that coke session he had before he went up.

if it was a normal night, he may have got away with playing those tunes (i agree, individually the tunes he played were mint) but not on that night. he will never be forgiven for that, and i have never ever ever in my long legged life seen a DJ get such a bad reaction at the end of the night.

never mind eh :) lets just forget the ornadel incident and pretend it finished at 4 :D

Ha ha, he was pretty at frisky that night also. All i remember him playing was umek-gatex, joydontstop & faithless-insomnia at midnight, everything else was rubishhy techy trance techy stuff - sounded like fergie playing over classical music on 4w speakers.
