thats how the world has ALWAYS been....u can not gain unless sacrifices are made...sad that it sometimes has to be lives... |

i see we have resorted to profanity... thought this was an educated board. anyways, the point is when someone or something is threatening your way of life you will do anything to protect it. however, there is a good and a bad way to go about it (i.e. Guatemala; president clinton even acknowledged this)..... oh and by the way, history has showed that minding your own business can lead to even worse outcomes. :(
i think you would have a different opinion Cyrus if Canada was the world power and the U.S. wasnt (as i think mine would be different too).... |

Im sorry.. but you obviously dont know what im trying to say here. INNOCENT people are the ones who lose in an attack! Who is to say that "it will save future lives" if a war took place. To me.. there is only death that is perceived. |

I actually wouldnt have another opinion. I look at things from an ethical, humanistic, and moral perspective. Just because i live in a country doesnt mean i would agree with the decisions that are made by my government. |

| Tiesto14, I'm not going to argue with you about people ragging on the u.s just for the fun of it because it's probably true to an extent. However when people give facts, you can no longer say its just "hating", if you did reasearch you would find that much of what people say here is true. As an American, I can't be proud of much of what my country has did, and I won't try to support it. If someone else is disgusted by what American does, then they should voice there opinions, as long as people are giving facts, you need to zip the lip and realize the U.S has done and continues to do some incredibly stupid , and that the rest of the world doesnt have it out for us. |

I AGREE...but my point is misunderstood....i am saying that YES the U.S. has its faults and needs fixing...YET so does EVERY other nation in the world....i juts find it funny that the U.S. is the main focus......thats all i meant.... |

You shouldnt find it funny/....you should understand that the US is a big bully disguised as a "policeman" to its own country... but the rest of the world has seen beneath the costume. |
