What is it then? And where can i get it? And is it free? :D With as little possible loss of quality is what im after. Soundforge is an excellent convertor, but u only get 20 converts before u need to register.. Bleh!!!

The only converter you need is CD-EX :o

It's the best there is and free :)

Yes, that's what I use as well. Great VBR encoding.
RazorLame, a nice GUI for LAME is available at:

Plz note that you'll have to get LAME (http://www.mp3dev.org/) first, in order to use the RazorLame "front-end".

I use dbpoweramp which can be found at www.dBpowerAMP.com

It integrates a shell into your right click commands in Windows, so u can just right click and convert. It's the smallest yet effective proggy around.

It allows codec installations, the one's I currently have installed (and therefore the only ones I know about!)

*Lame mp3
*Blade mp3
*WMA
*OGG
*RealAudio

Check it out - I think it's the best multi-converter out there.
