steve and/or dave...have you heard of a company Tec-Tonics in melb. I'm starting up with them soon (mainly 18ths/21sts/corporate functions) but they have people in the company with residencies at bars/clubs etc. They also do installations for clubs/parties, of lighting/sound.
The owner Rob Manning wants to expand a lot more and if you guys were interested in getting some more work he might be able to help. He's really down to earth and realistic about djing as a business. I figure you wouldn't be interested in any mobile dj work but he could be looking for more people to work at bars/clubs.
I figure more djing opportunities is better than none?
Pvtmsg me if you're interested in any way.
Can't wait to start :D Hopefully in a couple of months I'll be spinning some trance at a bar/club, even if small :P
Oh and philby he's looking for some new guys as well for 18ths/21sts etc. if you're interested ;) pvtmsg me. |

Yeh I know it's a gym but it's still spinning out in front of people rather than just at home. |
i think it's great. that sorta 'venue' always intrigued me, like some of the gyms i've seen in england and like up-beat cafe's, clothing stores etc..
i think it's great. better then the bedroom |

hey dude sounds quite interesting, yeah i dont see myself doing the mobile thing anymore as i spent my glorious teen years (14-18) playing at people's birthdays and it kinda gets to a point where you cannot handle it anymore.. though steve and i are always keen to play at any trance places around town.. the only one so far that we really know of is at sugar suite. there might be a few more but we'd like to push as far out as possible. and good to see you giving it a go too, all the best. |
