OK i know this must sound stupid to many of you but i have had this questions for years already.
what is the difference between mix/remix/dub?

I hope this is right....
Mix: A Mix is a Remix of the composer of the song! For example: Lustral - Broken (Lustral Mix)
Remix: It's a remix of another person: For excample: Insigma - Open your Eyes (Liquid Life Remix)
Dub: It's a version of a song without vocals, and most of the time it's very close to the normal non-dub remix - for excample: Kelli Ali - Inferno High Love (Riva Remix and Riva Dub)
i hope that's right and i could help you |

thanks for your reply! but no, idont think the difference between a mix and a remix is that simple.
for example i have
M People - renaissance (john digweed full on mix)
m people - excited (judge jules mix)
and these are obviously not mixed by m people themselves |

| mix/remix.. theres no difference. its just what they want to call it. its only usually a 'mix' when they give it a posh name :) |
