well the arguement that because 'he doesnt release his reworks doesnt make money' is horse.
its quite apparent that PvD thinks that music must 'fit his style' to make it in a PvD mix. he makes money off those mixes doesnt he....
all PvD is monotonous, but so is any artists music if you listen to it too much! ;)
PvD is one of the more down to earth artists, but he is still an entertainer. that doesnt mean he should be ostracized because of it-but he cant be a saint either. making a song 'fit you' is entirely vain. A 'real' DJ would likely be worried less about the songs sounding all the same (ehh PvD) and more worried about rocking the crowd to anything they want to hear| |
