the recent tune - love on the run, features male voices which sounds a bit like underworld vocal in some sense...
do u guys think it is better than justine suissa in the past?

Chicane has always tended to diversify in terms of genre so really it was only a matter of time before a track like 'Love on the Run' came along. The male vocals are perfectly appropriate even if they do help the track sound more like 'Another Chance' by Roger Sanchez. :)

Also, don't forget that Mr. Bracegirdle already nabbed Bryan Adam's vocal talent (hmm?) for 'Don't Give It Up'. Just because a guy sang on it doesn't make it a bad track (this is yet another opportunity to bring up Armin van Buuren Feat. Ray Wilson - Yet Another Day, a track seemingly unpopular with most because of its lack of female vocals).

Anyhoo to directly answer your question, I think that whether Chicane uses male or female vocals he is still some sort of God.

people didn't like the vocals on that?
thats pretty sad, i liked the vocals a lot and it was a refreshing change to hear a good male vocalist, imo

after hearing the chicane tune a few times i like it now, i think it fits in pretty well with the rest of his stuff, although its no autumn tactics with thrillseekers on the mix
i think a good remix of it would make it a classic like the other chicane tunes that were remixed by the thrillseekers and tomski & disco citizens

I think chicane is a genoius, he always tries new things and that's what I like about him, if I want old school trance I listen to 99 chicane, if I want chill break I listen to 2001 chicane, he just keeps evolving, and just getting better with age :)

Oh God the Rob Searle one is too damn cheesy. And I thought the Original was bad enough.

It's nice to hear guy vocals once in a while, gives it a different feeling. They should use them more often! :toothless I get tired of the female vocals since they do all sound so much alike. Props to Chicane for changing it up a bit
