Ok, i play my bassline trough the speakers, press record hopeing that the track will record in the bars below and it doesnt, can some one please help, its something easy, i just cant find it !

When you have a problem, it is most helpful to those you want to respond, if you describe in detail what your setup consists of and what exactly the problem is. I have no clue what your setup is, with what or how you are recording, from what source, how many pieces of equipment you have going etc.
Give us some detail and we will give you some input! The more descriptive you are, the better we can help you fix your problem. |

| I have the reason screen up, with my drum machine and synth. I want to record them into the boxes below, you know, the grid area things were your channels are....making sense, thought not......:( |

go to the timeline, click on the device title you want to record from (ex. Redrum). The rack will move to show you the redrum unit, now right click on the redrum and select "copy pattern to track"
it will copy your redrum loop onto the timeline, in between the L and R markers. |
