Have any of you seen the ads for 'Bonsai Kitten?' It's the most twisted and cruel thing I've ever seen. At first, 'Bonsai Kitten' sounds like something cute, but if you know what it is, you will be repulsed and disgusted. Myself as a cat-lover, I am horrified. Even if you don't like cats, I think you will agree that no living thing should be treated like this.
At a very young age, small cats are given large doses of muscle relaxant, (like Valium) and then they are subsequently stuffed into jars. I don't mean this as a term for anything else. The drugged-up kittens are stuffed into jars.
As the kitten grows, it's skeleton grows into the shape of the jar. (Most of the jars I have seen the pictures of are cubic in shape.) It's a painful process, as the bones need to grow warped in order to fit. The jars have small holes in them for the cat to eat/drink, defecate and urinate out of. The cats never get the opportunity to move. They stay in the jar for the remainder of their lives.
In some cases, the owners let the cat out of the jar (Usually by smashing the jar.) The cat is so weak and anemic from lack of movement and strength development in the muscles it can barely move, let alone manage with the odd development of the skeletal structure, forever warped in the shape of the container.
Is that absolutely hideously disgusting or what? There is a website, still in operation. The pictures are not graphic, but I believe the very idea to be repulsive and appalling that someone would condone the treatment of animals this way. The address is http://www.bonsaikitten.com. |

| Ive seen this disgusting and inhumane website before...if i ever find out anyone who is doing that to any animal... i will stuff them in a man sized jar and make them bonzaiman. |

i hate cats...they come on my property and on the side of my house...i spray them with a hose any chance i get...now im gonna try to catch one and send it to bonzai kittie...when wheni get it back im gonna put it on the side of my house to warn all those othe filty cats this is what ull get if u around here!!!!!!!

ok cyclopter...knower of all internet hoaxes..ill send my "reality meter" right in for a check up....whats so difficult to belive about something like that...we had a kid up the block who burried all his cat's kittens up to their necks and then ran it over with a lawn mower...people do sick . |
