Actually, i was almost gonna head on down last saturday, although i decided against it, thinking that Felix the Housecat @ r00m on sunday would be the better option. I was right.
But i have heard some fantastic stories regarding twister. Cheap drinks, tacky women and of course music to vomit to.
If only all clubs could be like this ey? |

Uh-huh. The only thing worse than hearing "Summer Lovin'" in a club is having to endure listening to 200+ pissed-up bastards singing along to it off-key. Hardly my idea of fun to be honest. :rolleyes:

Haha, well I was quite impressed last time I went actually (probably about 6 months ago now - though I used to get dragged along there every week, becoming a bit of a Cheers bunny in the process :rolleyes: ). They played a couple of Timo mixes back to back (Ubik and his Dub of Moby - We Are all Made of Stars... good track actually) followed by Sander K - My Lexicon. When I heard the first few beats of My Lexicon, I jumped down off the podium (*ahem* :cool: ) and went over to shake the DJs hand...... which was nice.
It made a change from the usual Yazooka/Modjo/Nelly e they try to pass off as "dance music" up there anyway. |
