I also think that Energy 52-Cafe Del Mar should've been left alone..
Here are some others in my view:
1. Insigma- Open Your Eyes
The Goldenscan mix and Chiller Twist mix just doesnt cut it for me.
2. Three Drives- Carrera 2
I love the original, but the NuNRg mix only sounds good live! |

I personally dislike every remix Of Ferry Corsten - Punk . The original is so good, all the remixes are pretty much 5/10 tunes or below.
I also don't like any remixes of PPK - Resurection.
I've heard about 5 remixes of Bedrock - Heaven Scent and they are way below the original (with the exception of Lifeline, which IMO is a completely different tune that rocks the house).
And of course the ones already stated:
Cafe del Mar (3in1 mix) can't be topped.
Sasha - Expander as well. I had really high hopes in the hybrid remix, but it was nothing special. |

Thats because its not a "Hybrid Remix". Hybrid never touched the tune. What was released was a bootleg of one of Hybrid's tracks mixed together with Xpander. Thats all. The mp3 was just misslabled.

1. Anything originally made by Hybrid
2. Anything remixed OR originally made by ATB (I can't believe that anyone considers any of ATB's tracks to be "trance")
Actually most remixes in general don't do justice to the original... I'd be more interested in remixes that do turn out to be better than the original. Like the breaks version of WoW's 'Earth' (IMHO - the original didn't even have a beat, WTF were they thinking). |
