From one Englishman to Another Az..... Shut up :) We got outplayed and the wrong guys were taken, and with the right ones in the first place, we might just have made it closer, but I know it doesn't seem much to the aussies here, but we needed a win, we've made lots of progress in the last 3 years under Nasser, and with players like MICHEAL VAUGHAN (pardon the caps it was on paste) and Trescothick, Anderson, Harmison & Collingwood, maybe the next series will be a contest, I'd hate to be thrashed, and its not fun winning so easily either.
Anyway congrats and ignore Az, he's tired :p |

Yes! As far as the series goes you Aussies beasted us lot.
If i were an Aussie though, i would be a bit concerned about the bowling:eek: As good as it is now (Mcgrath, Warne, Gillespie, Lee) you have all coming threw. Apparantly there's major concern amongst the Aussie officials regarding the fact. The fact your 2 best bowlers wernt playing and your bowling looked out of sorts says something. You replaced Warne with Mcgill who was to put it fair was E!! Bichell, 110% every ball, but certainly not a test class player.
It was the ideal opportunity for the best test cricket nation to blood some youthfull bowling talent with the series in the bag, and the truth is, you don't have any. Batting never seems to be a problem, Love look test class, and there's many batsmen knocking on the door i hear. |

Like i said, it was the PERFECT OPPORTUNITY for Australia to blood young bowling talent!! The fact is you have NONE! This isn't a just a jealous stab at Australia because i agree at the moment with everyone fit your bowling is far superior to every other countries, but Jeff Thompson was also saying he's been viewing various future bowling talent and he said they were no signs at all of any of them being good enough to play test cricket.

Absolutely agree on Viduka, I but I think Brett Emerton is probably the most over-rated talentless Aussie...

also winning this test is a big deal for us, you haven't lost at home for four years! (which coincidentally was us again :p). All this proved is that you're not that bloody great without Warne and Mcgrath, and we're not too bad without Gough, Giles, Jones, White etc....
