how do I know how much he makes....friends of mine are promoters in the usa....ballpark figure.
to cyclopter...you like mixing and horrible transitions then that's ok. Tiesto was horrid that night. I'm not negative....take a look in the archives at his 2001 oct 6th show in toronto....my review of that was completely different. Call me negative....i really could not give a |

nono...you see, the point of going to see a dj or listening to s set is to have fun and feel good. not rate them on technical skill. im not listening so closely as to pick up minor faults in mixing and the like. you need to take the entire night out into consideration. i had a blast seeing him for the 2nd time and quite enjoyed his set.
as for the negativity, i guess its just a matter of personal opinion. whatever. i dont want to make it an issue;) :D |

please understand, tiesto is a great artist and deserved the #1 spot. what i'm saying is that his track selection has recently SUCKED big time. furthermore, tiesto's dj skills aren't all that, and he has noticebly messed up in quite a few sets. what made him #1 are his productions. tiesto is where he is in large part due to his remix of silence. he wasn't nearly as popular until that remix came out. and again, as a dj, i believe that even i and several other djs on this board are better. i think dawn has more skill than tiesto for sure. but as far as productions go, he's miles away.. (although his last few remixes have also been disappointing) |
