classy, harder trance

i need some advice here.. i'm about to do another mix, but need a few harder trance tracks to pull of the intended effect of the mix. something with a tough beat, but classy, NON-cheesy melodies. the closest i've heard in recent times are the new Green Martian productions - great melodies, tough beat. I'm *not* looking for hard trance like Yoji, Scot Project, etc., etc. Just good regular trance with more attitude.

| thanks for your replies everyone. you listed great tracks, but that's not the sort of thing i was looking for. i guess there aren't many tracks like that. i'm loking for something along the lines of gren martian - harmonic minor. i guess it's a little tech-trancey (but not like katana) but with more profound melodies. the benicio tracks are close to that sound, but i need something more recent (late 2002/early 2003 - it's going on a demo/promo cd, need to impress with the newer stuff). |
