| Is it wrong if all I ever wanna do is just sit and listen to trance? Like I go to a good school and all and am about to graduate but I really have no ambitions anymore, besides simply enjoying time listening to trance. I'm thinking I need to just get out of school and to see what's out there, but I have 5 years in the Army after school is done, which I'm not really that excited about anymore either. Anybody else experienced this? |

Ive never really had any ambition to become anything. I used to get really depressed about it but i have always loved trance. I started clubbing. That open'd up new doors for me. Never looked back since. To me gonna crasher every month, trying new places is everything.
My parents cant understand :toothless
If serving in the army or staying on at school doesnt intrest u no more then dont do it. Do what makes u happy. Find a full time job and save up to travel or something but what ever u do dont kid yourself into doing something u dont have any intrest for anymore, it will only make u depressed. |

You're young so do what u want to do! don't join the army if u don't want to - why do something for 5 years ur not going to enjoy - u can do it later?. go out enjoy yourself amd try and find what u want to do later is my advice for what it's worth.
when i graduated and got a job it was something i really didn't have any motivation to do but i did it after spending a year full time in a band and having a f*cking great time!! :)
go enjoy urself - serious stuff later! :happy2: |

I think the important point here is not to lose focus on whatever your doing...Im sure you've had a goal or task to do after or during school, and from what I see, it seems that you haven't taken that objective seriously, and let it continue to slip by.
Of course trance will always be there...remember, as long as there is people, there's music, and as long as there's music, there's trance. I'm not saying prioritize your interests, but to not lose focus on what you originally intended to do.
Im all about advocating trance, but I'm also all about being succesfull and living my liufe to the fullest, whatever I do. And that's gonna make me happy, knowing that I tried and got something out of it. |

| Appreciate the advice. I understand the whole thing with having fun now and being serious later but I started kinda an in depth college program a while ago and I'm committed to the Army thing. I think I'll like it once I get out there, I'm just not very motivated for it right now. I think it may just be a phase that I'm not sure what I want to do so I'm just getting frustrated. Maybe I'll finally start spinning once I get out of school and have some more free time and can go from there. |
