| I've heard a "Soundbar" is opening in Chicago? Michigan and Oak? 40,000 square feet of space or something enormous like that? They'd better put trance in there. Gotta fill it up with sound! :eyes: |

Yes, there was...is, supposed to be a club by the name of Sound Bar. It's supposed to be all tricked out and stuff. Anyways, they were shut down after opening night for NOT HAVING A PERMIT TO SERVE ALCOHOL. Rumors are that somebody in city gov ed the owners royal. That's Democratic Chicago politics for ya though. If you don't kick enough money back to Big Stupid (my name for Daley), or one of his ing Irish cronies, you're screwed. Anyways, they're supposed to open sometime soon. However, I think it's gonna be hard house and not trance, which is stupid in my opinion, since the great myth is that everybody in chicago loves nothing but house music since it started here. Here's a clue-MOST PEOPLE IN CHICAGO HAVE NO ING IDEA THAT IT'S THE BIRTHPLACE OF HOUSE. Anyways, there ya go.

Psychobitch and/or Teri Bristol are supposed to be residents at Soundbar. They play the harder stuff. That's why they left Crobar and haven't been doing many gigs lately. Hopefully they'll bring in some DJ's to have a trance night. I doubt it, but it would be nice. The place is supposed to be nice from what I've read though. |

| It's never going to happen. Your best bet would be to hop in a car and drive the 550 miles to Toronto. Just take 90/94 east through *gulp* Indiana, and stay on it through Michigan and into Toronto. That's my plan at least, anyways. |

It can & will if we get our asses in gear and start promoting Trance Music ... Energy radio station is gone (THANK GOD) so people won't confuse euro and dance music with Trance enymore . |
