I like that he doesn't release a lot of his stuff. It makes sure his sets are unique and the songs don't get overplayed, you know his sets are gonna be amazing.
How much would you pay to get a copy of every CDR in that pouch? |

I don't think it's the length of the set that makes PVD play one way or another. During that 6 hour set at Roxy he didn't play at least 10 awesome tracks that he normally plays.
I've already convinced a few friends for a road-trip, and we'll definitely be there, but only if it's a 6 hour set. Anything less probably isn't worth it - considering he's rumoured to hit TO in April... |

i disagree with your logic. his four hour set at arc kicekd his six hour set at roxy in the ass. time isn't necesarily quality. |

i disagree... I think he likes playing a bit longer so he can actually put together a journey that us true PVD sets will surely love. But he can really throw down if he only has 3-4 hours to do it, which keeps everyone in the place going hard cuz most people can't hang like most of us. Even though we would still appreciate him playing longer, I believe that its too much for most people and I think the vibe can make or break a night. |

In some ways, I want PVD to play 6 hours cause Im takin the long-ass trip to Nyc and I want it to be worth it.
But I'd also rather have him play a 4 hour set, so I can get a little more sleep and ssave some energy for AVB the next day! hehe |

Well heers my thoughts on this.
I liked his set at Roxy alot even though it was 6 hours. He started Hard with some new Non pvd stuff. Went into some electro in the middle to get us ready for Paul plays paul the rest of the night :) alomost perfect set. His arc set was good but not amazing. He started with classics then he did do some elctro crap in the middle I wasnt feeling but destroyed for the last 2 hours after :crazy: Take me higher, YOU, etc.
I want an 8 hour set like he did for the 4 year anniversary party @ twilo  |
