Yeah, you know the ones.
You stop drinking and you feel all lairy, like you have a hang-over before you even go to bed (you know, head-ache, nausea, lack of bladder cont.... never mind). Nothing like a souvlaki to soak up that unsettled stomach acid! |

Having conducted my own experiment over the last 24 hours, I can safely say that Coles iced donuts (you know, the ones in the 6-pack) are possibly the greatest hangover cure ever.
In the interests of replication, the experiment involved the consumption of 6 beers, a bottle of Wolf Blass 2000 Cabernet Merlot (excellent, btw) and an unknown quantity of gin :nervous: from 6pm until 2am, after which the subject awoke with a pounding headache and an extremely upset stomach at 7am.
At around midday the aforementioned donuts, together with 2 litres of Coke, were purchased and subsequently ingested over the space of two hours.
I'm now feeling much better. :toothless |
