| Does anyone know of anything thing going on the 18th and 91th of Jan? Or perhaps just some good clubs to check out that Saturday and Sunday night? |

try olde city...anything in and around there is fair game...your best bet for music is Fluid on 2nd st. and south...
and whatever you do...DONT GO TO SHAMPOO, EGYPT, OR CHROME!!!

and if you have friends that konw the area...try and get to TRIBECCA for afterhours on both nights...good house music...good looking women...poor location... |

NFC Championship!!! (if all goes well this saturday night)
watching eagles football in philly would probably be an interesting experience for you. :D |

I dont mind shampoo on Friday nights. As long as you can deal with the gay crowd, its a fun night.
Fluid is hip hop on both the 18th, and the 19th.
Highmay has it right though. Hit a bar in olde city, then Tribecca aroud 130-2ish.
I dontthink there is anything special going on that weekend. |

Club Transit is pretty good... Definitely stay away from Egypt.. blowz... Envy is nice but kinda smallish. We used to have a cool site to check out - www.philly2nite.com for info about spots... but they haven't been keeping up the site... (another .com belly up?) but it's a good place to get an idea about what's where and has some postings bout places.

Shampoo (iffy)
Outside of philly - Manyunk is a kinda cool (check out Manyunk brewing Co. - beer brewery/restaurant). Few nice and small spots.
there are few cool lounges around the place - Warm Daddy's (front street down town) and Zenzibar blue
Fluid is tiny - maybe 100 people can fit on the floor... if that.
Restaurants to check out:
In downtown:
Buddokan (4th & Chestnut)
Kabul - great kebabs (afgani place but veeeery good food)
Gino's steaks - South philly (the best) Pat's sux! too greasy...
Japanese - Can't recall the name it's behind Dave and Buster's on Columbus ave. (right accross Egypt - remember, stay away from Egypt)

| Tribeca is cool, I have been there a few times when most of the eagles players hung out there. Its hard to find, but well worth it. Its literally under the bridge on Delaware Avenue. Some other cool spots for low key are Cafe Spice, Glam, Blue Martini, Cuba Libre (for the latin sexies :D ) Continental for a good martini, and pretty much anything else on 2nd st. in olde city. Stay away from the clubs they mentioned and also going anywhere near Decco or Evolutions lol. You will thank me later for those 2 hehe |
