he played the prophet when I saw oakey in 2000, he's played it a bit........and now if he has ripped it off......just to make himself cooler....

Yes he can dj, yes his track selection isn't that bad....
BUT, his productions..... first the vocals and unreleasing of the good Southern Sun...then starry eyed surprise....and now a pathetic rip off of the prophet..
In otherwords....Oakey is a pathetic sellout wanker...
Make your own tunes if you want respect....not remake a track that you notice people love, they love it because it was good...not because it was your holy self that played it sometimes..

Yes oakey has remade it. Basically he left a lot of stuff alone except for some sounds in the breakdown, it sounds . Very dissapointing. Its going to be released with 2 more tracks, the release is titled The Harder They Come.

are you all aware that oakenfold has never actually produced anything?? he doesnt even own a computer...he sits there whilst "co-producer" andy gray does it all...
to be fair andy gray has done some very nice productions in the past ;) |

he's lost his zeel for the music and is just going through the motions
& collecting huge paychecks & still getting top billing when he shouldnt.
