Nottingham Masses...please Help

anybody who knows mr nottingham by night:
what do u recommend on friday nights,i reckon i will pretty much stick with hotdog on sats unless somethin' spec is happening, but where would one recommend on fridayz, it appears to be dead apart from the bomb and i find it hard to find out who is djing or what the flow is,as they seem to stick to very local talent,and please don't tell me somethin about media, yeahh u can have a good time say if the judge is playing,but mostly that trevor nelson guy plays soul stuff there or they have those nights where the play a lot of volcal house with guys like rampling(as for tonite for example)and the crowd seem scared to move or so it seemed when i queued up once to goin and found nobody was talking or even smilling or even happy...i asked one guy whats the vibe saying and he replied timidly: "its cool" cool?,cool?...COOL?...what do they do in there...cream each other with baby oil???
so, please, if anybody knows any decent nights out on fridays let me know |

dunno about friday nights but saturday nights check out palais.. ive been once and it was cool as ... errr is it naughty but nice thats in nottingham? cant remember, its been ages since i been out there..

palais!!!!!!???????????... it must have been very very very ages since u have been, than again i have not been for maybe year or two,but i did not think that was u kinda thing, its all pop music 16 year old girls and trendys with those different colored burton shirts u used to get or maybe still do.
Nahhh, u surely don't mean the same place i mean.If thats u in the picture in ur posts,than lets say if either of us go palais and shock out like that we would get locked up.
maybe u mean the zone its underneath,never been there but i know a girl who went and she is a teacher at a college and loved it so i think thats not our vibe neither.
do u go hotdog on sats??? in fact this sat JFK is playing is he not 4am special see there matey unless u lucky and going to gatecrasher.

i was in Nottingham last night (its my home town) and i went to sh!te love shack. do not go there. also palais????
u obviously mad or deaf. isnt One Love on fridays as lost Weekend??? |

| when i went to palais it was the first time i went in a club (i was 15 heheh) it was an amnesia night and PvD was playing.. i havent been since so i wouldnt know what goes on there now :) |

--yeahhh, palais and love shack are no go places for trance addicts like us.And yes, one love is played at lost weekend on fridays and hotdog on saturdays.renaissance on sat at media and one-offs on fridays but not every friday.Apart from that i think there is just the bomb club which plays half decent music.
im sure i saw some post on how good nottingham has recently got, and i have to say it isnt that off the hook,its not like we godskitchen or gatecrasher regulars (yet). |
