A young fourteen year old teenager, who was just seen yesterday at my school, died, because of a heart attack.
Lucas Cioffi, a young energetic man, loved by many, respected by all, a man with amazing atheltic talent, passed out, gone, and dissapeared.
My school, in devastation, and I myself, in complete sorrow, the man I saw 3 years ago, will no longer be, at such a young age, a life has ended, what is the year of 2003 to come?
Why is this happening, oh god, I don't know what to say, don't know what to do, all I need is to pray, and think, about my life.
My respects to Lucas, you will be remembered, by all, remember that we are here for you, and we know your above us right now, looking down from the heavens, we love you Lucas.
Died by Sudden, began to have an aching chest, vomitting, and then passing out in the household.
Peace. |

Sorry to hear that :(
You know, sometimes this kind of things happen and the best thing to do is to remind what the person meant to us and hope that he's in a better place now ;)
But I don't think it's a prelude of what 2003 is going to be, don't worry :) |

He must have been sick or something but it's sad news anyways!
Young people shouldn't die like that! :( |

Are they going to do an autopsy?
Sounds like something calle 'pale heart syndrome' if they go into the body it will be white not red....
I have seen this about 3 times in 4 years of working in an ER. and it happened to a kid on a team in paddock lake WI in 2000. Our basketball team was playing and this kid just stopped in the court looked around... his eyes rolled towards the back of his head and he collapsed... he was pronounced at the scene. fuct up if you ask me. infront of 2000 people.... was a big game that nite. |

Damn....14????
And a heart attack???
Something is very wrong with that...
I'm very sorry to hear this as well.
I've lost a few friends to suicide about that age.
One hung himself and the other of asphixiation (carbon monoxide) by a connecting the garden hose from a car exaust into the car in which he passed.
I know neither are as sudden as a heart attack but I remember how helpless I felt.
I'm pretty sure it was that day that I vowed to myself to be everyone's friend because I never knew for sure if I'd ever see them again.
In retrospect, it was one of those decisions that has paid off over and over again and now I have friends everywhere I go.
I only regret not being there when I could have been for the ones that got away...
May they all rest in peace. |
