| Yeah I suppose it its one of the best ways to compliment somebody... but it seems kind of tiresome after a while, ya know? I mean hearing it in general gets tiresome (no one ever kisses my ass, which isn't necessarily a bad thing :)) |

I agree with Dj_Bod, because itīs ok to make people feel good, but it gets kinda tiresome (?) after a while when so many people say the same thing! and itīs not that I donīt agree with most of the comments, but how would yīall feel if you come to this site every day, really enjoying it and having some nice chats, and that your name hardly ends up in a thread like this! and Iīm not only speaking for myself but also for (all) the other TAīs that were "left out" !

It's all in good fun....no worries. Everyone here contributes to this site in their own unique way. Some post messages, some offer other services and info etc. Myself being a fairly new user here, I try to help out when I can. I don't expect recognition, but my point is that every one of us contribute in some sort of fashion. I think we "should" recognize those who go beyond and out of their way to give a little extra. I mean, who doesn't like to feel appreciated when they are giving that extra effort.

No not necessarily jealousy... I just feel as if there are people who contribute less than others and get loads of credit for it... If anything, I would say its more like being humble for not wanting to be in the spotlight all the time... I don't really know though... It might just be my personality, but I always try to avoid being the center of attention... oh well... It was a perfectly good question, and I don't want it to seem like I'm angry, cuz I'm not... Just needed to say that (its kind of like therapy for me, ya know?) |
