Finally a new Infinite Streams demo ;)

Heyz all,

I've been working on this hard energy tune, and got me some vocals by a friend (but I don't know if they're any good at this time really... hehe).

You can download the demo here [192 kbps] :
Infinite Streams working title

Let me know what you think of the energy in it ;) There's some things I plan on tweaking though, like the bass and perhaps the outro/intro part.

Take care,
Wim/LW

WHHHHHOAAAAAAAA!!!!!

AMAZING TRACK!!!

i also think you dont have to worry sbout the vocals, they blend in well , :)
maybe you could tweak the melody aliitle (or gate t or somethin) when it comes again around 4 minutes...but i'm not sure.

i wish you so so much luck man!

Thx Flotser! ;)

I'll see what I can do with the melody. What exactly do you mean with gating the melody?

Cheers,
Wim
Flotser
gating, i meant put a gate on the lead synth, i'm sure you know what it is :)

but now, that i listen to it again, i wanna take those words back, i guess gating will do no good here, its perfect the way it is. it just was seen to me at the first time that when the main melody comes again at 4 minutes, it sounds the same as it was at 1:50... i just though you can make it alitle diffrent the second time.
but again, i'm realy new to this, so i dont know what i'm talking about here. :p

Oh I see... Well I'm planning on editing the second buildup a little, it is indeed a bit the same as the first one (same filter cut). Thx for the tip ;)

Cheers,
Wim
modular
its my favourite of yours yet!!! kill the vocal tho...its evil and distracts from a great tune
dbl
sounds great wim... i kinda like the vocal, but it could have been recorded a little better :)
Lightworks
modular : thx man, i kind of promised the one who recorded the vocals he'd be in it though... but i could always fix an instrumental mix of course ;)

dbl : glad you like it. the vocals were recorded by a friend with a simple mic and creative sound recorder... but i'll try to manage it better for the next mix.

thx for stopping by ;)

I like it. Melody, bass and beats are all excellent, but yeah, the second build up needs some variation.

As for the vocals... I don't like them at the start, but the one-shot vocals are quite good. Make the starting ones a lower pitch or something, to make them sound more 'haunty'.

no problems with the energy at all. i just don't like the melody, it's rather cheesy IMO. you've done better..

love the spooky vocal, though.

StalkerElmo
getting better..

i'd say this be a good "cheesy" tune to rock those clubs out there.. indeed energetic.. but cheese is not a factor when it comes to your productions, on the contrary it's rather excellent..
Project T
right, this sounds well ace!

you definately need much more grungy bass, this is a lightworks bass, and is nowhere near phat enough :p

i would also say this definately not cheesy, maybe the vocal makes u think that but its not!

i think the kinda breakbeat bloop noise that comes in at 0:48 is excellent, but it needent be used later in the track, sounds in all honesty quite poor when there is proper percussion and no melody like around 2:49 but sounds ace when u use it as a breakbeat thingamajig :D

as you have said, it needs a proper build, to mix with and stuff ;) this is gonna be ace when it's done, u never cease 2 amaze me wim :)
