Cueing Mixed Cds

ok, here's my problem...

What's the best way to burn a mixed cd?

I've tried using WinOnCd Power Edition 3.7...all you have to do is type in the cue time and "insert cur"...when I went to download I get an error message and it won't burn...

So then I tried using Mp3 Cutter...the version on this site...I tried cutting the cd into the different files but that didn't work either...

My last resort is to use CdrWin...I heard that this program uses cue files directly...

If anyone has this software or know where I can get the full version please let me know...

Also, I would like to know how to turn cue times posted in this forum into an actually cue file...

thanks...

I believe that Fireburner will do what you're asking.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I started a thread for this and got a good response - so I'll pass on the info:

From DJTJ:
Wouldn't it be easier yet to use CDRCue to make a cuesheet? This is a great little utility that lets you play the mp3, you can pause it and add in a track break. You can fine-tune the break point down to the individual frame, so it's pretty precise. Using cool edit or whatever and then burning the individual WAV files will create gaps between the tracks, even if you burn it as Disc at once. If you use a cue file this doesn't happen.
You need to use CDRWin to burn the cd as this is about the only burning program that supports cuesheets. You can get this from: http://www.goldenhawk.com/
and you can get CDRCue from http://www.dcsoft.com/prod03.htm

Hope that helps!

..and from DJ Pete:

try this http://208.61.252.210/cooledit.htm or this one http://home.wanadoo.nl/b.m.berendse...l2k/index1.html

...for CoolEdit.

Thanx again fellas!
