i go to school in tally, so i was gonna get a ride to gainesville, and then have bo drive the rest of the way, cuz it wouldn't be out of the way for him. |

Damn, I was thinking Feb. 1st sounded awesome for a cd release party but I was wanting to make it to Gasparilla this year, I've never been but I've had friends go and I've heard it's insane.
Flo, sounds like a good idea. A place to stay is always the trhing I'm missing when I go down to Miami, so it would be nice this time, lol. Damn back seats aren't real comfortable(well, I'm not complaining about the last trip, lol)
Anyway, Arturo, you know what nights Edgar plays at Space? You think we'll find a back-to-back? Let me know mayn! |

its like the biggest parade, you can imagine in Florida,.. but its in Tampa and like 1/2 million people go and all get beads and see pirates and floats, and basically its one big excuse to drink as much alcohol as possible all day while walking the streets,... i was searching on that wheredaparty.com to see if i could find myself at Edgar V in Gville, but found myself in a sea of people at George Acosta,... but anyway there is also a Gasparilla link of pics that you can check out and get a feel for it,.. these pics look like the night portion of it but the day is similar,...hope that helps |

has absolutely nothing to do with music,...just a big parade representing a pirate invasion,... big pirate ship sails through the bay full of pirates (local important people, ie. lawyers, doctors, etc..) shooting off guns and cannons and etc... they get all dressed up in the moring and put on makeup showing scars and bullet wounds and blood dripping from their faces, eye patches,... the whole 9 yards,... the night parade is the same deal but about 1/10 of the people, but possibly more intoxicated b/c that parade is in Ybor,...
its basically Tampa's Mardi Gras.. |
