| You know that guy on the Quaker Oatmeal Box? He has that black hat and long white hair? I had a dream about him the other night, and now everytime I go into my pantery and see the oatmeal box, i FREAK OUT! Please tell me I'm not alone!!! |

oh....and maybe this will make u feel better the next time u open the pantery....i posted this thread about a month ago...about why Kellog's cornflakes was established... it's really messed up...

Well if you'd like to know who the man really is...
The Quakers were an extreme christian religious sect in the early history of the US. They inhabited mostly Pennsylvania and I believe they were German or Dutch in origin. They were masters of carpentry but believed that dancing, music, and anything "frivilous" was a sin. Similar groups include the "Shakers" which were here in Ohio.
They weren't the nicest people, SO BE AFRAID!!! lol :nervous: :eek: :confused: |
