Connecting PC Speakers to Mixer?!

Hey all!
This is my first post in the TA forum, I hope many more will come :) I bought myself for Christmas a cheap DJ setup, consisting of 2 Pioneer CDJ-100s and a Behringer VMX-300 mixer. I have the Sennheiser 280 headphones too. Anyways, I use my stereo speakers and they are really lame! :whip:
And I have this cool Creative FPS 1500 4.1 surround system in my PC, and I was wondering if I could connect my mixer to them, even if only for a 2.1 system. Is this possible? I mean, I asked in a local shop, and the guy told me that I could burn everything, and started talking about voltages and impedances, which I know nothing about. Otherwise, I'll get some new speakers soon :)
So can anyone help me? :conf:
Thanks :)

you can, easiest way would be to bring your pc to your decks and get a "phono to stereo jack" cable so that you can connect an out of your mixer to the line in on your pc and set record to line in on your pc, and then it will play the output from your mixer :)

Cool!
I'll get that cable then. So that way I can record my mixes as well right? And whatever will be playing will be listened through the speakers... I get it now :) That solves a big problem! hehe thanks a lot! :)
Cheers!

just a regular RCA cable should be fine
plug one side into "Line in" other side into master out. should be two of them. red and white. that goes into master out. the other side is just one usually black adn that goes into line in
