What is going on with DSS directv in canada?

as far as i know it is illegal in canada as of sometime in the summer of 2002
however they won't be cracking down on the individual's who own/use the directtv satellites, just the people who are selling them
the whole 15 minutes of fame this topic had in the papers has long past and i haven't really seen/heard anything done about it...
that's good news for me, i enjoy my free satellite ;) |

lol.....man u missed out. for like $400 u coulda had 5 years of 500 free channels 200 of which r movies and 5 of which r porn :)
but now satellites are dying!!! :( |

| I was actually told by an rcmp officer (friend's brother) to scrape the directv logo off my dish. apparently, if they see the logo on ur dish they come search ur house for a hu/p4 card & loader. and if u get cought with a loader, it's a $500 fine. |

You can still get them....
Just go down to the states buy one... You might stil be able to find the receiver and dishs up here but I guess thats gonne be tougher, if not there is always ebay. |
