there are also too many differing opinons on what each genre auctully is !
At the end of the day if u like it play it
no matter the genre, if it gets the adrenalin flowing then play it, play it loud :) |

Progressive

Hard to define but I would say that it is trance minus all the huge builds and has a more steady flow. (hope that makes sense...if not then check out some of the progressive tunes I've listed below)

As the name suggests a fusion of trance and techno, the result is tunes which have the classic trancey elements of builds and the techno feel with regards to beats. (Damn these explainations are hard to put into words !!! :))

There are so many genre's floating out there but the truth is that half of them are made up by the record stores and magazines...most DJ's will simply play what is good music... |

i think in broad terms, one can identify the genres pretty easily
but the fact of life is that a lot of the songs border within several genres.. or has elements from a few.. so its too hard to pinpoint what exactly we are lookin for... in identifing a genre..
