Thieves - I hope they rot in hell

My fiance just took a trip to the gym. she put her Mini Disc player down for a few minutes, along with some brand new sony headphones, and someone stole it.

I hope this person dies a horrible and painful death.

secondly, if you are reading this and you have ever stolen something from someone, i hope you do as well.

this is really hard for us, she just started going to the gym, and she loved that MD. this will disrupt her life greatly, and we cannot afford a new one right now, as we are saving to get married.

anyway, just had to vent. may the blind wheel of karma roll over this poor soul.

that sucks man. i got my watch stolen last year, someone went through my pants in my bag in the locker room(i didnt put my bag in the locker that day....bad idea) yup watch got stolen. i almost lost my new one the other day too, i left it in the gym floor during practice and realized it was gone the next day so i went down to the locker room too see if anyone had turned it in. there were a bunch of kids there and by utter dumb luck i saw that a kid had it on. so i asked him where he got it and hes like "i found it on the gym floor this morning" i got it back without a problem which was cool but its like....have you ever heard of lost and found or just turning it into an adult, just cause you find something in a public place doesnt mean its yours for the taking. thievery is lame

edit: did she notify the people who run the gym? maybe they can do something, compensation or i dunno, free membership. if they are extremely generous, which hopefully they will be, best of luck to you, and congrats on the whole about to be married thing :D

Whoever stole it will prolly die of cancer or something.

I had a major house party at my place on new years and some stole my 240 dollar cd player and 40 dollar headphones. Not to mention they jacked some 3 yr old bottles of beer taht i brought back from Europe a while ago, I hope they drank it so those ******s would have to get their stomachs pumped :whip:

I jsut went crazy as i cannot afford a new one:mad:

thanks mate!

yeah, she let the gym know, they said they will keep an eye out. i don't think they will give her anything for free.

we have also notified local pawnshops, told them the make and model of the MD, and what kind of battery was in it, in case it turns up. it was an expensive rechargable battery of course too!

and an impossible to replace 4 hour set recorded live from DJ ganja, one of my favorite DJs.

:(

oh well... there are worse things that can happen.

very funny ste.

if you lived on this side of the ocean, i'd beat you within an inch of your life, and then make you listen to ATB all day while you recovered, then repeat ad nauseum.

Wow. I've never heard that phrase before - I dig it!

What goes around comes around - that's 100%.

yes, or as cyprus hill put it, "What go around, come around kid!"

There's a chandelier missing from the house me & goldenarmz share. Me and volksjookz took it down coz people kept banging their heads on it and shorting the electric. We put it in the cupboard but now it seems to have gone :conf: How the did anybody walk out with that without us seeing?

OK, I'll admit that I used to shoplift stuff from 7-11 in junior high... but now that I actually earn the money I use to buy stuff, I think stealing is plain wrong. I have felt the sting of thievery myself; my house has been broken into, I've had a bike stolen (my fault for not locking it), someone took my $120 calculator and other things too.

The problem with petty theft is that you get absolutely no compensation or consolation since in all likelyhood you'll never get your stuff back. The only brightside is that you usually learn a lesson such as: always lock your friggin' bike up, even if you're just going in for a slurpee.
