| I took it some time ago and I liked it... Its not bad like people say and its not prohibited... I took it under recomendations and supervision of a personal trainer.... So it was ok... I cant remeber now how it works on your body, but I have it written somewhere in my house... When I get there I'll post it here... Its just not recomended to drink alcohool like a bastard while youre taking it cause it could "overload" your liver.. |

I started to use creatine powder a while ago, and the effects were amazing, you need to have a good amount of body mass, if your skinny then it will not work and it will be passed through your system as normal , there is suppose to be lots of side affects like spots and that which i think is bull . the powder was to much hassle mixing it so i went on the pills , and i have seen a lot of difference . It is not advised to do any other drug or drink while creatine is in the body , as it will not work , belive it or no t, there is creatine in everybodys body , of course if you add more , body mass and tissue will develop , of course you will need to work that mass into muscle.
check these links to get the real advise , and not all the rumours.

yes, taking carbohydrates (by eating spagethi, rice etc.. or buying it as powder as well) helps getting mass... and its recomended... |

I dont know about creatine, but I drink a protein shake every day (Interactive ISO Whey mixed with Soy milk). There is slightly more than 50g of protein right in this one drink, and it's enough to help in muscle development. I do this, and try to eat as much meat as possible (while watching fat, and trying to avoid fried meat etc), and Im loaded with protein for muscle development after those long workouts.
I've been using whey protein for just 1 and a half months, but I can already see noticeable muscle growth, and have better increases than without it. |

| Creatine does work. But remember it's not steroids. It will bloat and hold water, wich will make your muscles grow and become stronger. So if don't lift heavier while you can and make some progress you will eventually lose the water weight and the strenghts.Point in creatine is too try to build as much muslce, not for the creatine too build muscle. Remember you must work for your results. I only use creatine when i feel i have reached a plateu. And I thinkt he only really proven serious side effects are kidney damage, but that's if you overtake it. And about it being not natural...remmeber it doesn't matter if you buy chicken,fish,bread,etc.. from the store, it's not natural imo... Everything in stores has chemicals in it. |

| There are no proven side effects. Ive been taking the stuff for quite a while now. I like it quite a bit. Just remember if your workingout to build lean muscle then you should also take protein. This is really what helps with muscle development. Creatine just gives you the energy you need to workout and have a strong recovery time, so basically everything that PleaseThaKorean said is true. Creatine definatly isnt a steroid or anything close to it. I dont believe it s with your testosterone so dont about that. |

| i've been lifting wieghts seriously for over 3 years now. i am completely agianst creatine use. the fact is that when you stop using creatine you lose strength and drop in weights. this means its a dependancy issue. why take something that you have to be dependent on to keep or advance your desired weight. i recommend not being lazy, get dedicated and build your muscle foundation the right way. the occiasional protien bar or shake is recommended because in order to stregnthen your muscle cells you need protien in your diet, but proper doses of the real stuff (lots of meat, preferably 2 or 3 chicken breasts a day, drink milk - skim is best, and about 4 to 8 eggs a week). trust me it might take you 3-6 months longer to get there but that way you're not using a cheating shortcut where you would just end up needing to waste time and rebuild true muscle after you stop using it. |

I'm sick of hearing these myths.
Firstly, creatine is natural. Creatine does not fill your muscles up with water, nor does it build muscles. Creatine is converted to creatine phosphate in the body and when ATP is turned into ADP, ADP needs to gain a phosphate to revert back into ATP. Creatine phosphate donates its phosphate group to ADP and becomes creatine. Creatine is basically a source of phosphate groups that will readily donate a phosphate.
Taking excess creatine increases the amount of readily available phosphates in cells and thus increase the time one will be able to excersise. After depletion of ATP, anaerobic respiration will initiate then lactic acid buildup etc.....
So anyway, to sum things up, creatine will allow you to work out for longer periods of time without going into anaerobic respiration, although the time difference is minute. Creatine will not build muscles or give the appearance of built muscles. That's what glutamine is for. |

its kinda the other way around...
remember, anaerobic = without oxygen, aerobic = with oxygen
ATP (also known as ATP-PC)(Adenosine Triphosphate-Phosphur Creatine) is an anaerobic energy system, it lasts about 0-10 seconds (although elite athletes do develop it to last longer, because it is the most powerful energy system). Depleted ATP-PC molecules usually take about 2 minutes to replenish, although the longer you go, the longer it takes to replenish etc.
Lactic Acid is an anaerobic energy system and will usually kick in after the 10 seconds and last about 2 minutes. So in a 400m run, the reason why you feel like dying at the end of it, is because the lactic acid energy system has been used and results in the buildup of lactic acid around the muscles.
The final energy system, is the aerobic energy system. It kicks in at around 2 minutes and is used for endurance type activities, however it is no where near as 'powerful' as the ATP-PC energy system.
but the point you were making is spot on |
