Yes, they have some extreamly fruity people in there, least they dont inflict themselves on your doorstep like mormons though.
As for multiple gods, I guess any of the old Norse, Greek and Roman mythos would do |

i believe in the religion of TRANCE, i worship at The Church Of Whats Happening Now (term used by gatecrasher for gatecrasher).. the DJ's & producers arnt the gods, they are the prophets, the music itself is the god/gods i worship. The prophets are just the instruments and messengers through which they have passed.
as far as actual religions are concerned.. sorry if i offend anyone by saying this but i think its all a load of bollox. thats my veiw, and before i get toasted for it i dont care if u are religious or not (do/beleive what u want.. i do) just dont try and convert me!!! jahova's witnesses are the worst for it (again no offence if there are any in here, but i seriously doubt there are) knockin on ur door thrusting literature down ur neck... i remember i once made THEM a leaflet, explaining why they should go away and leave me in peace... |

| No disrespect but the poll choices omit too many of the world's major religions. Religions such as Hinduism (3rd largest religion in the world), Chinese Traditional (i.e., Confucianism, Taoism and Chinese Buddhism), and Sikhism just to name a few. Also, a choice for "Other" would've been nice and would've been the one I chose since I am pagan. :) |

i thought Islam was the 3rd largest religion under christian and Buddism..but who cares........whats Crazy is that majority of us Trance lovers...have the same view point when it comes to spiritual and religious beliefs....and most dont beleive in religion as it is a form of gods words.... that shows you that Majority of People addicted to trance ...are probably more intellegent then the everyday joe! |

Well here is my opnion on religion, i am a baptized chrisitan, but i don't feel like going to church is a good way to "prove" my faith. i feel that if i am a good perxson i am fine, ok now to get off my high horse.

Of course these are approximate figures and they vary depending on the source but, the top 5 religions ranked by size would be:
Christianity @ 2 billion
Islam @ 1.3 billion
Hinduism @ 900 million
Secular/Nonreligious @ 850 million
Buddhism @ 360 million
However, that last figure doesn't include the Chinese Buddhists which are commonly lumped together under Chinese Traditional (along with Taoism and Confucianism) which comes in 6th @ 225 million.
Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Like you said, "Who cares?"
In my opinion, there are two types of people. Those who believe in a Higher Power and those who don't. Is either one right? We'll never know as long as we are walking this Earth. Can any one religion claim that they are the one and only true and correct belief system? Hell no. God and spiritualism come in many forms. And what is a common denominator amongst most major religions?--Music.
So, I think it's safe to say we are all members of the Church of Trance (at least those of us who frequent this forum) and we all should rejoice and give praise.
Can I get an Amen from the congregation?
