| Does anyone here like DJ Tilzs? He plays freeform style. I remember I posted some samples here a few months back and got blasted with everyone saying it stinks, perhaps now some people have moved on and there are more new people here so someone out there likes his style. I first found a set of his 3 months ago and now I have every set out there and can't stop listening to them. I don't think I've ever gotten hooked on a single DJ or song like this since ..of course.. PvD - For an Angel. I'm also looking for any playlists or sites related to this guy if anyone knows any..I still haven't been able to identify more than a fraction of the tracks in his sets, particularly many of the best ones and it's really getting to me . |

| No takers? No one has heard anything from this guy? ..lame.. At least one thing is for sure..message volume has increased dramatically, wow 2 months ago it would take 3-4 days for a message to get pushed off the first page..lol mine got pushed 1 1/2 pages from the top in 1/2 a day. |

| I have one set from him. I'd describe Tilz as more trancecore than freeform, but it's still cool. You won't see it spread, because anything close to hardcore (such as trancecore) is still considered a raver / crackhead genre... |

I totally agree starchild, it's such a ridiculous stereotype. I think that's what keeps many people away from that great genre, because anything with "core" in it is supposed to be particularly "crackhead stuff", I say fu-- them all stereotyped bastards who are missing out on some great music. As to trancecore vs. freeform, what's the difference? I've thought all along they are basically the exact same thing.
This link http://www.users.skynet.be/noiz/brain/music/tcore.html
has someones interpretation of trancecore/freeform.
Hey happy-hardcore, thanks for the link but I already have that one, I'm looking for another site because Tilzs' site there hasn't been updated in about 6 months..BTW do you have the set Tilzs - Live @ Higher - Lexington, KY - 020201, do you have any more recent ones than this, I think I have every set and tape up to Lexington. Do you know any links apart from the sonicfury and other major producers page (ie and page from an individual)? |
