Nottingham :
* easy access to godskitchen, gatecrasher, passion.
* good university (top 10 in Uk)
* lots of good shops (voted top 5 places outside london to shop)
* crime is a little high, but choose the right area and living standards are fine.
all in all nottingham is a good place to live.
2 hours and your in london on the train to. |
oh and i forgot to mention. nottingham is home to 1 of two select a disc record stores. (the other one is in soho, london) if you want house, trance, breaks, hip hop. no matter what it is they have the finest, underground vinyls available. they get most stuff before anyone. If you've seen it on juno, they will have it.
we also have another underground shop known as "funky monkey" as you can probably tell, it is the home 2 the Uks house / funk scene.
we also have a bug store. for those that are unaware it sells cyber gear / clubber gear but at stupid prices. Not to mention, if you can't be bothered to drive to GK/GC/P we have Hotdog @ the lost weekend (Lisa Lashes / Eddie Haliwell / JFK are regulars) and enough classey bars to keep you interested.
and yes there are 3 women 2 every bloke and most of the ladies here are fine, really fine! |

plus there's the three to one bird ratio :D |
lol, yes thats a good argument for nottinghamm..
i would shortlist nottingham, leeds, and sheffield if i was u. all three have good unis, and it easy te get to the best clubs from each :)
if i had to sway one way i would go for leeds, simply because of the amount of cyber gear u can get there :D |
