Does this venues have a sound system? speakers and amplifier?
for such a small capacity of 50 ppl, I got some old speakers that would do the trick.

| cool, thx for the support everyone, goes to show how tight toronto TA's really are. what i had as information about the venue was a little misleading. at first i thought i would be able to hold an overnight party there. something small but good. but i learned that the owner wouldnt be willing to do that just yet. maybe when we have him wrapped around our little fingers, yes. but for now the most i could do is hold an evening of sorts, say 8-midnight , maybe later. im still planning on doing something of this sorts, selling tickets and such, but it would be more of a "dance" than a "rave" seeing as how it wouldnt run into the wee hours of the night. that is one of my future goals but right now i have to start small. we could still put on a wicked show but it wouldnt be a huge thing, and it wouldnt run into the morning. anyways, this venue, i learned, needs some work. and it might be a month or more before its ready to go, so im not gonna make any plans till its ready. as far as other plans, im working with a friend on finding a place to maybe have an event that isnt so legal. but that's another story... |

I say go with the non legal party, more freedom to do what you want, and the first party going till 12am? Bah, useless. Or you could always just do a house party, that way you could have it going until the morning and no one could stop you.:D |

| ya, so far the house party is the best idea so far. still illegal but whenever i get the chance, im doing it, i have a sweet surround sound system in my basement. |
