Hardwick progressed right into the openers set and the closing Dj progressed right into Hardwick's set. I didn't even know Hardwick was off until 45 minutes after he walked off stage. The entire night was hard uplifting trance. Out of like 35 songs I remember being bored with 1. He started with a few of those unknowns that John '00' Flemming played at the start of his set a few weeks ago. Then went into some real epic . It was wild!! My only complaint is I think the bass was too high. It drowned out some of the melody. The closing Dj was really good. I'm not sure if he was Bill Patrick or Eddie Bang. He kept the club moving with a hard progressive vibe, which would keep you on the dancefloor if you had any energy left.

Ok, lets see. A Tracklisting in no paticular order:

(Viframa) - Cristalle (Katana's Intro Mix)
(Sonorous) - Protonic (Ronski Speed Mix)
(Hemstock & Jennings) - Rendezvous (Promo)
(Oceanlab) - Beautiful Together (Signum Remix)
(Midway) - Inca
(Solar Stone) - Solarcoaster (Midway Remix)
(Gtr) - Flood Control
(Sun Decade) - I'm Alone (Micro De Govia Vocal Dub)
(Lolo) - Melody (Original Mix)
(Kid Vicious) - Proceed
(Dj Vic) - In The End
(Armin Van Buuren) - Sunspot (DCML Remix)
(Dream) - Get Over (Flutlicht Vocal Mix)
(Jan Johnston) - Calling Your Name (Neo & Farina Remix)

(Ilo) - At the End (Might have been after Hardwick)
(D&A vs A.P) - Pure NRG (I heard something similar to this before the guy with the mike came on)

he didnt play rendezvous, he played tilt - invisible right before Iio came on. All in all, an amazing set, more than amazing, BRILLIANT!!!! Probably 1 of the best trance sets I have heard all year. From start to finish it was high nrg. Good seeing everyone there and always the shoutouts to my partners in alcohol last night: Greg, Rory, Lara, and Caryn (go get your passport :p )

some other tunes spotted:

Above & Beyond - Far from in Love (Shane54. vs pink flood remix) :eyes:
Junkie XL - Breezer
Bedrock - Emerald
Ultra - Metro (mystery remix)
Gouryella - Ligaya (Hiver & Hammer Remix)
Ayu - Connected (Push Remix)
Enya - LOTR (??? remix)
DJ_Lord

At 2:00 on the dot Mat stepped onto the phazon decks..... Mat hardwick~~"I am going to destroy ny !!!! But his plan failed and he took us into heaven. Straight up no fluff cheese Pure raw anthem Trance. WE then hear the announcer ~ WElcome Gatecrashers resident Matt Hardwick He opened up with a hard house song just to drive in the point that he was coming to conquer. After he worked in a crap load of new and old tracks. The moment of the night me and ian are talking ...... Ian? what track is this..... I dont know but it Rocks!!!! hahahahahha My mind is a bit shotty right now-which doesn't suprise anyone- but as soon as it calms down I will put up a few tracks I remember. Matt Hardwick was nice enough to talk to me for a min b4 his set. This guy is a class of his own. Besides being an amazing performer he is approachable and friendly. He said that ny would be seeing him again :). This set is not as good as pvd @ arc without a Doubt! This was actally a reasonably good set. I was happy some of you got a chance to meet my sis genny and some of my friends. This is my original crew from tunnel/ twilo days :)

just helping John remember :toothless

well, Bill Patrick spun much nicer tracks -for me, as a technohead- but we had to leave since one of the Riva sisters had to go to work at 11am!! -i pity her-

did ur brother give you the SAUSAGE?!

I am glad i came out. i had a good time, though i had some starting problems - too much caffeine.

Great to see 'Crasher back in NYC again. Although lacking that *insane* vibe that used to be @ Limelight back in the day, this was an amazing set. Str8 up trance, no cheeze allowed :) Hearing JunkieXL-Breezer was a very special treat... nice seeing all the TA's out representing (too many to name) -- thanks to Ian for the hospitality and to Caryn & Co, and Greg as well. See all you guys in 5 short weeks @ Avalon/Roxy :clown:

You sure it was Tilt - Invisible? Hemstock & Jennings - Rendezvous & Tilt - Invisible have the exact same melody. Only that the Rendezvous remake has alot more energy. I remember no classics last night. Then again, halfway through the night I forgot english and made up my own language so I could be wrong. :eyespop:

i was DEFINITELY into Bill Patrick as well, which sort of blew me away. Perhaps my tastes are changing a bit. Scary, but good.

I have received the sausage AND the eggs!! I spent last night putting the lil toys together and playing with them. (no comments, please)

thanks Greg!!!!!! Oh, and I loved watching you dance. quite amazing. I'll let Daniela elaborate. ;)

ok, for anyone who did witness my exuberance and pure love for Matt Hardwick's set...

I HAD SUCH A GREAT TIME!

Matt rocked my world! My sister and I had the best time!

The entire night was perfect...Greg and Rory met my sister and I in Long Island, we all got ready, headed into the city about 8:45pm. Picked up Ian outside of his apartment, headed out for sushi at a place in the village. FROZE walking to the restaurant, but cured that with a bit of hot sake to start things off.

After dinner, got some bubble tea...

off to Ian's apartment, it was like stepping back in time, but in a really great way. ;) Between myself, my sister, Ian, and a little help from Greg, we finished off two bottles of Grey Goose vodka.

catch a cab, off to Arc! We walked in just as Matt started his set. BREEZER!!! :eyes: :eyes: :eyes: We knew it was gonna be a great night. :D and indeed it was...

I decided that I MUST get to Gatecrasher, it is now my lifelong mission...someday, I WILL GO! maybe just not this weekend, the passport alone will be $160, that's a little much right now. BUT I WANNA GO...

I will now be accepting donations for the "SEND CARYN TO GATECRASHER FUND"...any spare change in your car or couches would be greatly appreciated...

great seeing all TAs who turned out for the evening, Arc had such a great vibe! Enough space to dance, but not too much, really nice crowd, so much support for Matt Hardwick and Gatecrasher.:D

I hope he comes back SOON! Maybe Scott Bond will come too...

We need more nights like this in NYC.

Greg, Rory, Ian...you all must be in attendance for upcoming parties, what a blast! Can't wait to experience PvD with all of you in February!
