| denver is the ....colorado springs is kinda small...so i bet traffic and such wouldn't be too bad. plus, denver is like 45-50 min. away. denver is better imo. i've lived in colorado most of my life (minus being in school and vacations). the mountains are beautiful, weather is actually great, skiing is close, etc. its dry in colorado too, so if you don't like it dry it might be hard to adjust. also, adjusting to the altitude doesn't take too long. just take it slow for a week and drink extra water (esp. in the summer). unfortunately, right now there is still a drought in the denver area, but i'm not sure if colo. springs is affected....so that kinda sucks. but, still, denver is a nice city to move to. personally, i'd choose denver over colo. springs. i don't know how easy it is to get a job, but there have been many lay-offs in colorado this past year or so, so dont get too hopeful. yeah, not too much else to say.... |
