PLEASE TELL ME THAT IS NOT IMILKS CAR!!!!!

anyhow, back to the subject!

Evisu Jeans, founded by Hidetoshi Yamane, got his inspiration from Levi Strauss Jeans. Yamane actually purchased Strauss's old cotton looms to make traditional jeans again (I.e none of this mass manufactured crap) The Name Evisu is also derived from Levis. Originally called Evis Jeans, but due to copyright stuff he changed it to Evisu. Little touches include a wonky belt holding bit on the back, a crotch rivet for added strength and a unque "Selvedge" that identifies the Jeans from the turn up. Of course there is also the unique "E" symbol on the pockets. The first jeans have them hand painted on, so u can also tell how much a person has worn the jeans/the lenght of time they've had them for. Unfortunately ,in the UK, the Evisu brand has been devalued over the last as EVERYONE has started to wear them. Evisu has also branched out into other articles of clothing, thus distancing itself from its original denim values. Real followers of the make have very faded versions as they've had them for longer. Like me! :)

Prices range from £120 ($170) for a pair of standard jeans with a white hand paited Ecru logo on both pockets to

£1200 ($1800) for a pair of limitied edition "Millenium" edition Jeans in special kimono presentation box, kimono applique on the turnup (I think) a millenium poem, and 18 carat hand stitched logo and 18 carat rivets.

Also produce many limited one off Jeans which absolutely fantastic, none are the same as each other, and are really nice. Cost = £500 ($750)

edit: you are paying EXTRA for jeans that are made to look WORN, even though it looks unrealistic because wear marks are over the whole thigh (usually), and lots of times wear marks are on the ass area.

what does this mean? your ass are has been grabbed so much that your jeans are starting to wear

The faded part usually hilights the asses on chicks. I gotta say that they look mighty good on university chicks.

Yeah i think it looks dirty and really not stylish!! In my opinion it makes the jeans look cheap! :(

700+ USD for a pair of jeans that look like you crapped yourself with some blue stuff?? WTF?? either i'm a complete dummy in this fashion thing, or this fashion thing is completely screwed up.

eh, don't start me on fashion morals... :-/ (we need a :-/ smiley)

i'm done

*steals imilk's car (:eyes: :eyes:) & runs off :D

yep, rolling your pants up is the coolest thing to do
Magimaster
ey, I roll my jeans up.

Mind you, nowhere as much as the jeans rolled up in those pics (I only roll them up an inch or so) but keep in mind that in terms of fashion, North America is usually several years behind the "high" fashion centres like Italy, Britain etc. so don't hold your breath because in a few years time that might become the trend in North America.

I agree, these look quite queefy.

I roll up my jeans too. I'm just too lazy to get them taken up, that's all. I don't feel like draging my jeans under my boots either; so...

Those jeans look disgusting... I would rather spend 700 USD on an article of clothing from Zegna, Versache, Armani, Boss, Dolce & Gabbana, Etro ect.

I usually don't wear jeans but I have 3 pairs of jeans and they're normal jeans, I dislike the fade look, but if people like the look they can wear them, i don't have a prob with that

Tsunami One
i think they are ghey. i mean u buy a pair of jeans u dont wanna look like youve go tpaint on them.

1. old trend
2. it is a matter of taste
3. i like it
4. please do not try to put REASON in an argument over fashion. There are people that buy stuff, which is "practical", which is a reasonable buy, but it usually looks like SH1T.
