And to those out there interested in producing hard trance, “produce your own style and produce what you like,” advises Dirk. “Don’t copy other styles too much, the scene needs new inspirations and productions to live on. Don’t just look for the money. Have fun and do what you believe in…”

OMG the sydney scene should follow uberdruck's views, LOL here in sydney everything is the same, and its more like a competition of who can replicate the last party. I dont see no1 pushing nu sounds (talking about the parties, cuz ppl in sydney dnot even really produce trax to push that lol)

btw ive herd some of those scratch sets they rockkk!!

but yea, to put it in a few words, sydney is , from now on im saving my money for a trip to europe, cant wait to leave this place, and nik fish isnt lazy, he is just the coke fuked junkie thats all he is and all he ever will be, he can rot in hell for all i care and sample no body listen to techno there.

Like another piece of eveidence on how the sydney scene is.
liek you know how sydney gets kai tracid n to play here, they bring em down cuz therye good dj's like seriously how many times has nik fish or dj left our shores to play oversea's.... not many but yea

personally id most probably say that the hardest dj in sydney although not big at all hehehe is benje who will be playing at the next mk sydney me thinx.... but you wont wanna go there since its a rave... and on that point how do you know the best tracks in a long time were played at thrillseeker if you dont go to the others?

i do turn up to a few raves here and there.. AND I KNOW that no1 plays the that promo played.. even tho yes i do know crystall whatever have pretty much the same records.. do you they play em nahh... theyll end up playing some breaking eardrumzz liek they ussually do

quote:
talk to people on www.mksydney.com they will be able to tell you where allt he hard trance djs are playing

please.... the people on mk are the most twisted and spastic people in the entire universe, bro i'd suck your dick even, if they knew the slightest about hardtrance... or anything for that matter. The whole MK is made by fukn junkees who make the scene what it is today, which is fukn pathetic, every person who goes on mk should be shot, becuz they are keeping the scene this. Sydney will never change when a bucnh of pokemon loving s are at the helm guiding it....

anyways.. this is a uberdruck post :)
I CANT w8 FOR fat as OMG IT SOUNDS AWSOME... ooh and picture disc too
hehehe

your talking out of your arse man seriously what can you say about the melbourne scene??? its all completely gone to ive got mates from melbourne that tell me the whole place has gone to there are fights all the time and the whole scene is full of try hards... even your djs fkn suck half the time whats with the pathetic bass station cd its fkn !!!! man i was down at hard kandy the other week and i asked some guy who was completely off his chops where i could hook up and his girlfriend goes to me "have you ever considered instead of a pill trying a raw potato" what the is with that... man gronkits were saying that years ago in the sydney scene... its all about whos cool in the melbourne scene... if you sit down in teh middle of a party in sydney guarantee youll have people geeing you up getting you to dance!

happy hard is good and the new stuff is trancier then ever... but more styles then happy hard are played... you have breakbeat, trance, hard trance, hardcore, gabba, drum and bass occasionally, hardhouse... the rave scene is pretty open and versitile in most cases.... and the sydney rave scene is very far from static you have weaver signing up with hixxys label raver baby and internationals coming out all the time hixxy storm promo brisk and ham paul elstak ufo blah blah blah

whatb can you say for the melbourne scene except you got the melbourne shuffle and a whole lot of gronkits trying to do it?

and K-NOISE what you said about mksydney is complete bull alot of the people on there dont particularily like happy hard most hate candy ravers and a load love hard trance.... they regularily travel all over the country and the world to go to parties! ill be expecting my dick sucked next time im back in sydney!!!

and about djs from sydney going overseas to play heaps of sydneys do not necccessarily trance djs but heaps go over... Nik fish played at dance valley... kid kinobi just got back from a tour.. blah blah blah.... i want to ask why australians cant accept that they have quality djs and good parties until they get the nodd of approval from other countries... stop being their gimp... we can keep up with the best only if wed support ourselves insetad of sucking others arses!!!

and man you know noone played the that promo played off we used to ahve competitions of counting how many times one of his tracks was played.... mayhem played 7 or 9 promo tracks in one set one night!!!! no one plays promo pft

bah... fkn as you said this is a uberdruck post... but to put it plain and simple the sydney scene fkn rocks
xxTRANCEBOYxx
Ahh, thought the :p would show that i was joking... ah well have to agree with you on Hard Kandy. But our trance scene is getting there with the likes of Steve Strangis & Dave Begic :)

yeah sorry about that i didnt know which way to take your comments.... i get pissed off all the time with all the politics everywhere in sydney melbourne in the world scene everywhere everyone thinks that the music they listen to is the shiz of nit the don wan of music and talks off all others as commercial cheesy poo... when in truth so much of the music is interwined you have trance tracks using samples from happy hard and vise versa same with hip hop and hardcore and then you get breakdowns of songs which sound more like dnb than its actual category!!!

most of all, although i dont really listen to happy hard that much anymore, i hate it when people call?@it a pile of just becasue its the thing to be said and on top of that i hate the people who are suddelny "im over the rave scene"...

i know im being mad patriotic or somethign i spose it comes with being over seas but too many people ahve this view that australians arnt up there when we are we just gotta support ourselves!

anyways back to uberdurck i like him hes pretty good i think some of his stuff is e but other stuff is top notch he seems to use the same sort of bass line alot like wa wa wa wa wa or whatever I like drugface most and some other track by C4forget what its called ill haev to go check my recs sometime!
xxTRANCEBOYxx
Yah sorry dude, was only meant to be a joke. I know where you comming from with all that 'everyone thinks that the music they listen to is the shiz of nit the don wan of music and talks off all others as commercial cheesy poo'

Cheers :)

Überdruck is the only correct one. But some keyboards and languages don't have the "Ü" so they put a "U".

"Ue" is semi-correct cause that's what you write in german when you can't put a "Ü" as in some online forms or on my credit card it's like that, too. (I have a "ü" in my last name".

Überdruck is really cool. Spun with Dirk on several occasions (Loveparade 2002 was the last time, unfortunately)
