How wrong aint this?

My classmate told me that one of his friends' friends had ordered a 256 kbps ADSL line, but the company did something wrong, so he got an 8 Mbps(!) line instead, and he's only paying for 256 kbps! :mad:
They tried to download from a fast server (10 Mbps), and got constant speeds at ~730 kbps, and it took 33 minutes (!) to download an SVCD (~800 MB).
Well, I'm just jealous. Seems like it's happening to everyone except me.. |

I got a 1mb line although I'm only paying for 512kbps...
I always thought I was the lucky one...
Tell him to beware, though - Sonera tried to make me pay for the 1mb line although it is clearly their fault...
When I told them I wouldn't pay they said they'd change it back to 512kbps ASAP... it's been over a year now and nothing's happened... |
