HELP: traveling to Germany?
View this Thread in Original format
rubyriva
hello everyone,

i was wondering if you could give me any and all information concerning the feasibility of my travel plans...

i am thinking about flying with drizzt81 to Frankfurt at the end of February, arriving on February 28th and leaving on March 4th.

this way, i could catch Paul van Dyk in Frankfurt March 1st and go to Rosenmontags Rave on March 3rd.

Does anyone know the line-up for Rosenmontags?

also, i saw that Paul will be spinning in Hamburg 2/28 and Wuppertal 3/2...is it possible for me to go to these too? or is it crazy to consider it?

i am SO CLOSE to booking my flight, just need a little more info.

anything would be appreciated!

hope to meet some of you soon...

many greetings,

caryn

No Lineup has been announced up to yet, but we are epecting it very soon. The only thing we know (almost) for sure is that PvD will not play at Rosenmontagsrave.

Both is correct altough this would really be a trip, at least for someone from Germany.

Frankfurt - Hamburg = ca. 500 km
Hamburg - Frankfurt = ca. 500 km
Frankfurt - Wuppertal = ca. 230 km
Wuppertal - Oberhausen = ca. 60 km

If I was you I would go to Frankfurt, then Wuppertal and then Oberhausen (Rosenmontagsrave) and leave out Hamburg.

Wieso ist das eigentlich fast sicher, dass er nicht zum RoRa kommt Lunchy? Wegen den vielen Bookings in den Tagen vorher?

yeah, but Ruby is someone who drove from Toronto to Washington DC (10 hours driving) and back within ~3 days!!

It is doable, but it all depends how much you would want to spend on either a rental car and gas (driving) or train tickets.

Nachdem das Mayday Booking schon bei Ihm auf der Seite steht, aber von RoRa nichts nehme ich einfach mal an, dass er eher nicht kommt. Vielleicht wirds ja noch was, mal sehen...

excellent plan, Caryn, albeit a tough one!! It is definitely better to leave out Hamburg. Just in case you change your mind on that, though, I'd strongly recommend flying from Frankfurt (where you'll arrive) to Hamburg and back. The ticket on Lufthansa would run you only eur 116 (about $125), which is in fact cheaper than the train.

Anyway, if you know what to expect from Adam Beyer (Greg prolly told you) you'll have an awesome night. I'm actually jealeous as I'll miss that one  . AB is my favourite DJ in techno.

c u soon!
