I'm sure all of you have seen Swampers post by now... the question is

If I close it, I would be able to reopen it at a later stage (provided it doesn't get deleted). However, the thread re-opening would be pretty unlikely.
But I would leave it stuck at the top of the forum :)
I feel that the postwhore thread has been an important part of our forum - ever since it really took off during the mid-year when we had an influx of new members :)
I won't vote in this poll, you guys can decide. I'll check the poll after 48 hours - then whatever happens, happens.

| if its closed we stil retain all our posts that we posted in there. If we get it deleted we lose everything - the longest thread on TA. Now that would be a sad day! :( :( :( |

Indeed it wouldn't be the same if we made a new whore thread. But I think it's for the best that we close it. I'd rather have the thing closed than have someone screw up and Swamper deleting the whole thing. Heh, who knows, the whore thread might even be moved to that classic old threads forum.

No - my beloved creation is shrivelling away! The classic old threads forum idea sound great, though. But, it would have to be a copy, the postwhore thread belong in Australia :)
My vote would be a combination one. Firstly, keep the thread open, until it reaches 9,999 posts. Then let me put in a eulogy for post number 10,000. Then close it. |

I didn't buy it I'm d/l it, so far I have 30 min, I am def gonna buy this for sho! It's ing brilliance! And I'm also gonna get the Sander Kleinenberg ASAP. I need so many more GUs :( :( :( I have to get them all before they are too rare. So I wont be getting vinyl for a while.
But get this CD, it's brilliance so far! :D :D :D I'll hopefully pick it up on Sunday.
