lol actually I would agree that Out of the Blue is cheesy, but cheesy in a good way. See, outside of Europe these kind of sounds are foreign to most ears, and they do tend to sound "Euro", which some people consider it as being the same thing as cheesy. This is not just in trance or music, but even on the way people dress, act, talk, walk, anything.
There are levels of cheesiness and some cheese is delicious, like Ferry Corsten, Armin, Versace and Mercedes
There is bad quality cheese like DJ Sammy, Darude and Italians in motorcycles wearing a lot of gel and no helmet.
You might think this sounds ridiculous but think about it, this is really a cultural thing. |

firstly, i said don't stop, not sandstorm......
secondly, i did judge it by how it sounds.....
thirdly, i don't "diss trance", i merely stated an opinion that out of the blue is not cheese....it's just an opinion, no need to get up in arms about it :thepirate |
yeah your right im getting carreid away :stongue:
i still think that dont stop andout of the blue fall into the same catagory of trance.. its just that everyone thinks that ATB is a sellout thats why they call his stuff cheese
he was quite good in my opinion..
Besides i love good trance and so called "cheesy trance" so dont hurt my feelings :tongue3 |

keeping to the original thread. i will like to suggest:
1. dj encore - i see right through to you
2. dj sammy - heaven
3. ian van dahl - castles in the sky
4. lasgo - alone
5. marc aurel - running
6. milk inc. - in my eyes
7. n-trance - forever
8. web - mornings
these are some of the cheesy eurotrance tracks that i used to listen, but i have now switched to more serious trance. i still listen to them occasionally. |

Kelly Llorenna is the multipurpose uk trance cheese vocalist. She's done all the vocals for cheesy N-Trance, Flip n' fill and some 'solo' stuff. However, the rob searle edit of set you free is just decent - not really chessy. |

| Guys, Out of the blue sure as hell is cheese. Aligator, sandstorm and atb and those stuff is not cheese, they are just plain dance music. |

I prefer Eurobeat vs Cheese.
Some of my all time favorites from 90's:
Culture Beat: Crying in the Rain, Out of Touch, Inside Out
Robert Miles: Fable, One & One
N-Trance: Electronic Pleasure, Set You Free
Trey D: Higher & Higher
Bed & Breakfast: Made me beleive in Magic
Anything from 2 Unlimited
Many songs from Bad Boys Blue
These are just a few. I don't keep up with the new songs in this genre, but the mid-late 90's Cd's & radio mixes still reside in my car. |
