How is everyone surviving the cold?

I'm miserable. Is anyone else about ready to lose their mind? All it's done in Cleveland is snow, snow, snow...and it hasn't gotten above 14 degrees F in days. What's your cure? Anyone coming out tomorrow?

I'm freezing my ass off here too. It's like 5 degrees with a wind chill of negative something. No snow though here. It snowed around 15 inches about 20 miles East of me last week though.

I don't know why , but I'm doing just fine with this weather :D actually I'm able to wear shorts when it's snowing and freezing go figure :stongue:

and concerning your little thing at Abbasso's you know I'd love to come but there's the age issue .....

why don't you tell them to make it 19+ ? ;) ( Avalon does that and I think it's a good and effective way to cut back on potential issues with the high school crowd )

It's been good. The weather I think has kept a lot of people away in this geographically-dispersed area. Magically at 7pm or so the past couple Fridays, the heavens have opened and showered lake effect snow on us. So, I could be happier with more numbers. But, the people that have turned out are totally into the music and are educated about it, and they have all said how much they love what we're doing. Which is cool in my book. I'd rather have a couple dozen heads who are totally vibing with us than hundreds of dizzy drunks who are more worried about scoring a hottie to take home and exploit that haven't a clue as to what's on the decks or how it's being played, ya know? And so far, word of mouth seems to be that people come because they know the people and the music are real. So, yeah. I'm happy. :D We're doin' our thing. And hang tough with the age issue...maybe someday mgmt will break.

Have you visited the web site and downloaded the mixes? I know it's not the same as being there, but they really were recorded live (we did a couple minor edits in Cubase just to squeeze in different parts of the set), but you can totally hear what was played as it was played. Let me know what you think. http://www.headrushmusic.com There's a whole page of just Audio.

Okay. gotta go. Time to pack up and get ready to open...

Fine here in MN. I wish it was colder. We don't even have any snow. The damn state of Florida has got more snow than we have this year. WORTHLESS!!!
