umm...21 to buy cigs? where u people get you
info from, its 18. and not all clubs are 21+
clubs with an open bar are 21+. and when you go
to dance, you go to dance. not get faced.
dont get me wrong, drinking is fun, but if your "CLUBBIN"
alcohol. im 17, and i can get alcohol any damn time
i please, most of my friends are 19-23, not to brag,
thats how it is, dont like immature 16 yr olds, etc etc

yea i agree juno... i heard a quote recently "today is my 21st birthday... i can now legally do everything ive been doing since i was 15"
so so true :)
and you only gotta be 18 to buy cigs (legally) in the us |

ok, i've always heard that legal age in the us was 21, while legal age here is 18
so, i was thinking that you guys had to wait till 21 to do everything we could do at 18 here |

Actually about a decade ago, the individual states had the say about what the legal age was for cigarettes. California, where I am from, has always been 18. Though Massachusettes, for instance, was 17. Now I believe it is 18 accross the board. |

many clubs are 21+ (cause they make most of their money from alcohol!)
a good few are still 18+ (at least on certain nights)
some used to be 17+ (now only certain nights)
usually if you goto a club and your 21+ and its 18+ to get in you get a wristband which allows you to get drinks from the bar
although ive gotten drinks at clubs without a wrist band.... haha :) |

everythign here is 18+
although some clubs here have 21+ nights, 'm not sure why
prolly just to keep some of the riff raff out i guess |

Always been 21 for alcohol, parties/clubs range from all ages to 21+. I personally like going to the 21+ parties, it is a more mellow atmosphere. |

actually it hasnt always been 21 for alcohol in the us... its some deal where the states wont get federal highway funding if they dont set their drinking age as 21... wow i learned something in school... yippee! |
