right lets clear this up, i did miss the turn for the train station but as your train left in 5 mins, even if i had had gone left instead of right we still wouldnt have goto the train station in time for you to catch that train. so i said "do you want to come back to mine and catch a later train or sit in the train station in the cold for an hour", so said u'll come back here. so we did, and then u want to catch the next one out? grr i only tried to keep u waiting in the cold all day! :p
and yes its becoming well known now that i make random noises in my sleep, ste and harry have also witnessed this. |

| Well despite what everyone else seems to be saying i thought NU NRG were awesome for most of the set and it was interesting to see the live pa and made something different to enjoy for the night. Most of the dj's were mint Gielen and jules were a bit random but still good tunes and a top night. |

just woke up and had a spliff.. back to stage 1
first off, nu-nrg were mint. theyre mixing couldnt have been crap it doesnt work like that, and it didnt :p if u were stood on the far left hand side of the main room (by the side of the stage) u get double beats every now and again there :p the only thing i didnt think was good about nu-nurg was their mix of for an angel.. but then again i hate for an angel anyway.
guy ornadel.. this will surprise u, but he was mint. extrememly mint. yea he played born slippy, jules also played the cj stone mix. and jules wasnt too bad either.. he played a couple of tunes and did a couple of mixes, but he wasnt as bad a s he usually is.
nick riley was minted as per usual, was playing really chunky tribally stuff really loudly. just what u need as u get thru the door!
matt hardwick blew me away.. again. i have honestly not heard a trancier set in my life. theres gunna be no stoppin him this year :D
scott bond was extremely good, nice bangin stuff from the man of pies.
the only let down of the night was johan geilen. he bored me to the point of leaving just before 6, which i hate doing because u pay a lot of lot of money to get in the place nowadays. but u really shouldnt put johan geilen on last, scott bond should have done that. johan geilen is much better playing trance instead of the crap that he did play. the thing was, i prolly liked most of the tunes on their own, but they were all the same sort of techy hard tracks, and after a while it just got boring.
all in all tho it was wicked night! nice to meet all the ta's there again. met spacetrain off here, seemed like a sound geezer ;) werd to redeye for coming all the way for that, was good to see u again mate! as for alexdj, good to see u too! i shouldve done what redeye did and talked to u by text message :)

hehe, I know im gonna get blagged for this, but I thought Nu-NRG were . I was so looking forward to a repeat of orgasmatron that I was dissappointed with them because my expectations were so high. I thought the night was great (good seeing all the UKTA's) . Matt Hardwick rocked and his new production (Matt Hardwick & Les Hemstock - Magenta) was a killer tune. Wait for it, Les told me it comes out in a few months. Bondy was killer as usual and he mixes a mean cranberry/vodka except that he always forgets the cranberry juice lol. After 1 I was done. Jules sucked IMO, he just didnt seem to feel the crowd that night and was playing vert annoying tunes with extremely high trebles, he made my ears bleed. I left during his set to go up to the vip lounge to finish off my drinking binge with Johan, Riva, and Ben Thompson. I dont know how I made it back down to the booth but I did just as Jules was getting off. Johan played some interesting tunes and gave me some records as well so I wont complain much lol. The night was insane, got to hang out with pretty much every producer around and did a 15 minute interview for MTV Holland during Johan's set, not bad for being to Crasher once ever before lol.
P.S. Ornadel played a blinder as well, but since I saw him the night before at gods and he played the same exact tunes I didnt comment on him |
