| the scene os dead here man, we got oakenfold in december thats it. i really dont think anyone would come here thats huge. i mean give me a venue that can hold enough ppl for armin, and give me that many people here who even know who the he is. sorry to burst your bubble. just drive to toronto its only 4 hours. |

| well i live in ann arbor (student at u of m) and club necto here has been booking good djs for a while now... i know some guys who work there and ive heard of some big names coming through this winter/spring, but none of it is confirmed so i cant really post any of it here... but for now im heading to paul van dyk in columbus next month :D |

...really??? I heard the "Detroit's Gift to the World" techno party kicked it a couple weeks ago! You guys know about the new techno museum, right? I mean, I know it's not trance, but it's something!

| sure there are people here who love the music, but just not trance. in fact anything but techno is despised of. the big parties died years ago, and now even events with legal venues are getting shut down. its ridicilous but the truth. all's we have is demf, which almost didnt happen for this upcoming may, but will happen after all. even the ppl there just go for the party, they dont give two s about the music. |

Hi guys
Im in the windsor/detroit area...i usually go to Toronto for all my parties. However, I was just curious to know how far Ann Arbour actually is from detroit.
And for those in detroit...there is a party this saturday(feb 22st) @ Wired nightclub in windsor, Peter Ivals will be spnning. He has his residency at Guvernment and Viva nightclub in toronto, he's pretty good, if you guys want a change in DJ atmosphere. |
