hi guys. I am intending to buy a 3 channel mixer ... my budget is that of around the numark 3002... ard $300
Can someone tell me which mixer is better? .. the
Numark 3002
or
VMX300
Or better still if you can recommend me a mixer for ard $300
im intending to use with the Pioneer CMX3000 .... going to make a custom made cd rack for the player and mixer. so i think getting a rackmountable type mixer or table top mixer wouldnt really matter much.
Thank You |

Hey man,
dunno about the Numark one, but i own a VMX300 and I love it, I think it's great value for money and has every feature you might possibly want.
Any question about this mixer feel free to ask.
Cheers! |

...two thumbs up for the VMX 200, the little brother of the VMX300.
Might even want to give it some consideration, as each of the two channels are switchable between phono and line-in, almost like having a 4 channel mixer for $250. :) |

i have the numark.. i wouldnt get it again because all the faders and knobs dont last very long. i bought it in september and here is the list of things that are broken:
Bass EQ on 1 channel doesnt fade out properly, goes down, up, down
X-Fader crackles when pushed to the end
2 Channel Level faders are crackly when near the top
The cue signal to the headphones lacks bass (which severely sucks bum)
all in all.. i would say not to bother :) |

pretty much any half decent mixer will have that mate, and its not like a 4 channel mixer as u can have all 4 channels on at once.

I have a Behringer DX500, the old version of VMX300. I Bought it over one year ago and i didn't have any problem. I rate it like the best mixer for quality/price.

Well, i have the Numark one, and it SUX!!
Everything that happened to tu-faces' one happened to mine, so i'd stay away. Probably even worth saving up a bit more and gettin'something better IMO.

I have the Numark 3002X also...
Have the same problems as you the other guys...
The x-fader is intact, but ch. 1 fader cracks when it's at top, and the headphone's monitoring know krackles when it's on cue-point...
Screw numark...next time I'm going to go with Pioneer...good luck mate! |
