Had a quintessential Aussie day - barbie, beeries, back yard cricket and of course JJJ's hottest 100. So what did you guys think of the list? Personally, I thought Foo Fighters - The one was the best tune of the year (pretty peed off with it's number 11 ranking). Number two for me would be Queens of the Stonage - No one knows (both of those albums are awesome btw). Still, I was a bit surprised with a few of the songs in the top 10. London still number 3??? And how funny was it when Adam and Will came on and announced song number 26 - Salmon Hater - 6.66 (one hundredth of the number of the beast)!!! I must admit that I voted for it :)
Perhaps next year we should stack the list and vote for a trance song? Although with 750,000 people voting, it might be a trifle difficult. |

The number one song of 2002 was Nelly - Hot in here.
Well it was until 1:30 into the song when Adam took it out of the cd player and smashed the cd into a hundred different pieces live on air and said "that is the first and only time you will ever hear that song on jjj" :)
Then they played Queens of the Stone Age - No one knows and the world was returned to harmony. |
